Greek School: Enrolment Info

Dear Parents of Our Blessed Parish,

The new academic year is almost upon us and lessons at our Community Languages School will commence in the first full week of February. Enrolments will take place in the last week of January and the School Principal, Mrs Bahas, will ask for you to complete an Enrolment Form and to return it to her on the day, including the full payment of the annual tuition fee (Please refer below for enrolment dates and tuition fees).

Fr Prochoros, the Church Committee, the teachers and I look forward to another wonderful year where our children will have the opportunity to study the Greek language, be exposed to the Greek culture and traditions, and our Greek Orthodox Faith. There are a number of compulsory events throughout the year that I would like you to pencil in on your calendar as it is expected that your child attends. It is important that what is taught in the classroom is reinforced by the family. The dates are:

Sunday 29th March Greek National Day

Compulsory Church attendance

and March from Martin Place to the Opera House

Children will recite poems and sing the National Anthems

Sunday 24th October OXI Day

Compulsory Church attendance

Children will recite poems and sing the National Anthems

Note: These dates maybe subject to change by the Archdiocese
