Oxi Day Celebrations
On Sunday, 28 October 2018 we celebrate the day when Greece said "NO" to occupation by foreign powers in 1940.
It is an important day in our history. Many were willing to risk their lives for their faith and their country.
The Greek School Students delivered many beautiful poems and speeches after the Sunday Service. We thank all the students for their outstanding deliveries. Mr John Rekouniotis, Parish President laid a wreath in remembrance and a minute silence followed in commemoration.
We have uploaded some videos and photos of the day. You may view them on our 'Alerts' page.
We also thank all of the Greek School Teachers and our co-ordinator, Ms Mary Bekas.
Please visit our 'Alerts' page to see ALL of the photos taken.
