PAROULA - GREEK DANCING

Paroula holds Greek Dancing Lessons in the Church Hall every Thursday afternoon from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
Greek Dancing is a fun way for our children to partake in our culture and engage in physical activity. All ages welcome, with the groups divided according to age.

WELCOME
Welcome The Very Reverend Archimandrite Prochoros Anastasiadis
Our newly beloved spiritual father His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, announced the appointment of The Very Reverend Archimandrite Prochoros Anastasiadis to our parish, commencing from Monday 12th August, 2019. We welcome Fr Prochoros with joy to the Parish of Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene and the Community of Liverpool and Districts. He returns to us after serving the Parish of The Resurrection of Christ, the Lady of the Myrtles and Saint Elesa and the Community of Kogarah and Districts. We look forward to his ministry and wish him well in reconnecting with the laity. We are certain that he will embrace us all with his spiritual leadership from the pulpit. May the Lord and our Patron Saints bless him throughout his service in our humble parish.

FAREWELL

Farewell to Reverend Father Dimitrios Papaikonomou
We farewell Father Dimitrios Papaikonomou and Presvytera Ifegenia after two and half years of devoted service to the Parish of Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene and the Community of Liverpool and Districts. We thank him for his ministry as he served with diligence and love in all aspects of our community. We wish Father Dimitrios and his family all the very best with his appointment to the Parish of The Resurrection of Christ, the Lady of the Myrtles and Saint Elesa and the Community of Kogarah and Districts. We farewelled Fr Dimitrios at his last liturgical service on Sunday 11th August and as a token of our appreciation he was presented with a gift from the President of the Parish Mr Rekouniotis on behalf of the whole parish laity. May God bless him throughout his service for his ‘diakonia' both at our parish and at Kogarah.
