Update on recent changes

Dear Fellow Parishioners, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios announced that all Greek Orthodox Churches are closed from today. All liturgies will take place behind closed doors and only in the presence of the Parish Priest, Psalti and Neokoro (Please refer to the Encyclical from His Eminence) Sacraments and funerals will continue to be conducted but only in the presence of immediate family members. Following the Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s announcements for limiting gatherings over 500 people and given the developments of the increasing cases of Covid -19 (corona-virus) in Australia, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios in cooperation with the Organizing Committees, announces the cancellation of the Parades, that were scheduled to take place in Melbourne on the 22nd and in Sydney on the 29th of March 2020. His Grace Bishop Aimilianos of Meloe Visits Our Parish

His Grace Bishop Aimilianos of Meloe Visits Our Parish on Sunday 8th March It was a blessing to have His Grace visit our parish for the second time and to conduct the liturgy. The Church was well-attended and it was wonderful to see many of the parishioners receiving holy communion from His Grace. God bless Him in His Service. On the day, our congregation collectively raised $1,082.00 for the St Andrew's Theological College. Thank you to our very generous parishioners.
